Delta Air Lines is facing a lawsuit from Rolando Jimenez, an Atlanta passenger who claims a 5.5-hour flight to Seattle wrecked his spine. He says the person next to him took over his seat space, leaving him twisted and cramped the whole way. That position allegedly blew a disc, and the aftermath was emergency surgery plus chronic pain that hasn't let up. The case takes aim at Delta's seating dimensions and how they manage space on flights, arguing those policies are the real problem. Jimenez is asking for more than $44,000 to cover his medical costs, the suffering he's gone through, and whatever future treatments he'll need.
