On FRI, it’ll cross the 1.2B mark and beat TheFateOfTheFurious’s 1.24B run to enter Universal’s ALL TIME TOP5 global hits. It has a shot at also beating JurassicWorldFallenKingdom’s 1.31B as Universal’s #4 highest grossing film EVER & also DeadpoolAndWolverine’s 1.34B as the highest grossing R-rated film of ALL TIME by the end of SUN, depending on its debut in China. With a spectacular performance so far in Korea & pre-sales in China indicating the biggest debut ever for a Nolan film, the 1.5B+ mark seems locked 🔒 as the new floor, even without Japan. Yeah, TheOdyssey is poised to beat Barbie, TopGunMaverick and even AvatarFireAndAsh, how crazy is that?
