@rogers_jamieI don’t usually highlight holdovers with less than a million daily, but this is a notable exception. Paramount’s new R-rated comedy horror Scary Movie 6 has become the third film in the Scary Movie franchise to surpass $100 million at the U.S. box office, and it’s the first R-rated comedy to do so since 2017. Anna Faris and Regina Hall were the stars who helped push it over the finish line. https://t.co/gkQl0jHDTn

A split-panel graphic shows rows of severed heads on blue shelves from the Scary Movie franchise on the left and a CinemaScore grade on the right. The left side displays multiple recognizable heads including a doll, a woman with a smile, Ghostface, a mustached man, a bearded man, a bandana-wearing man, a curly-haired man, a red-capped clown, a blonde woman, a woman with bangs, and a young girl. Large white text at the top reads “HEADS WILL ROLL” and the bottom features the movie title “SCARY MOVIE” with the tagline “EVERY LINE WILL BE CROSSED JUNE 4 IN CINEMAS”. The right panel has a dark blue background with a yellow circle containing “C+”, the CinemaScore logo, and the hashtag “#CinemaScore” plus the website “www.cinemascore.com”.
