@FootynewsClaudio 'Chiqui' Tapia dropped an update that goes way past the opening match, AFA is in talks with FIFA for Argentina to host an entire group phase of the 2030 World Cup. The plan would see the three or four opponents of a full group play their first-round matches on Argentine soil. CONMEBOL wants Uruguay and Paraguay to each get a complete group as well, all tied to the push for a 64-team tournament.
