@FootynewsMartín del Palacio dropped a report that Gianni Infantino made a big promise to the FMF: help them leave Concacaf and move to Conmebol if he stays FIFA president. That alleged deal would explain why the Mexican Federation is leaning toward backing Infantino, even as the rest of Concacaf unites to demand changes inside FIFA. So the real question is, does a Conmebol ticket actually justify that support?

Two men in suits are smiling and looking at each other. The image is split into two sections at the top, with logos and text. The left side has a white sunburst logo and the text "Concacaf". The right side has a blue shield logo with a map of South America and the text "-CONMEBOL-". The men are standing in front of a colorful, abstract mural. The man on the right is bald and wearing a dark suit with a blue tie. The man on the left has dark hair and is wearing a dark suit with a green tie.
