@not_a_charmDetails finally surfacing on a serious close call where a French naval vessel intercepted a ballistic missile in the Red Sea back on October 13 inside the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. The interception happened near a Belgian Navy ship, specifically the minehunter Primula, though Brussels insists that vessel was likely not the intended target. Suspicion points toward Yemen's Houthis for launching the thing, but that remains unconfirmed at this point. No injuries or structural damage were reported from the event. This info comes through VRT NWS and the Belgian Ministry of Defence #Yemen #Politics
