@hye1nThat dopamine hit when a stranger on the internet tells you you're the man? Grayson Waller says it's the hardest thing to resist, even though AJ Styles gave NXT talent a much starker reality check years ago. The advice was blunt: if there's a mean comment about you online, ignore it. If there's a good comment about you online, also ignore it. Neither actually matters compared to the people who hold the keys. Styles pointed out that Hunter, Shawn, and Bloom are the ones who've done this before them, so their opinion is the only one that counts because they are the ones who are gonna put you in places. It feels amazing when someone puts you over, like 'Yes, I'm the man,' but you have to realize those fans don't really understand. They might not know what professional pressure looks like or why wrestlers act the way they do. These kids are going through something that no one else has before, making it impossible for outsiders to truly grasp their perspective.
