Machine Gun Kelly replied to Yungblud's video stating that live music has become inaccessible. He accused the artist of canceling a tour over insufficient ticket sales while blaming mental health, only to be photographed at Nobu the following day. Calling him a liar, he added that the tour tickets cost just as much as those for any other performer and told him to quit the privileged preaching.
