Thierry Henry Super Ballon d'Or Messi

Thierry Henry shut down any debate over the Super Ballon d'Or and made it clear that Lionel Messi is the only name that belongs on it. He said it's bigger than goals, assists, or trophies, it's about defining an era and what the Ballon d'Or stands for. Henry gave Cristiano Ronaldo his respect for an extraordinary career, but stressed this award goes to the player who embodied the Ballon d'Or across history. Messi's eight wins, including four straight, turned the prize into his own signature. Henry summed it up bluntly: anything else would be an injustice to football history.
