Petite Barrière border hours update

The FRONTIÈRE PETITE BARRIÈRE crossing in GOMA is getting a new schedule that runs from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. This change kicks off on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 for the post connecting Goma to Gisenyi in Rwanda. The North Kivu Governorate put out the word on August 31, 2026 about this shift. Officials say the point is to make cross-border exchanges and passage smoother for people moving through the area. Customs services got the memo to adjust their setups so the transition happens without hiccups. In the territory run by the AFC-M23, governance keeps to standards of regularity. This administrative move is all about ensuring an effective transition for everyone involved. #Rwanda
