    Bodo/Glimt Ballon d'Or nomination

It's wild that Bodo/Glimt got nominated as the best club of the year at the Ballon d'Or Gala. They just made history in their first Champions League participation by beating Manchester City, Atlético de Madrid, and Inter Milan. The squad even reached the Round of 16 after eliminating Inter Milan right at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium to finish in the Top 16 of Europe's best clubs. This is only their second time qualifying for the Champions League in history. Think about where they came from: eight years ago they were playing in the second division of Norwegian football. Now they are a team based in a Norwegian city with 50,000 inhabitants that has no foreign players in their starting 11. Their head coach is Norwegian too, and they play in a stadium with a capacity of 8,000 people. The whole journey proves they deserve a movie.
