AJ Lee WWE evolution quote

The unfairness of the old system is what sticks out most when you hear AJ Lee talk about the past. She describes a time where women were fighting over one crumb while men got the whole feast, a setup designed to keep them distracted from the real resources. It was genuinely hard back then, but she acknowledges being lucky enough to grab the biggest piece of that single crumb and squeeze every bit of value out of it. Coming back ten years later revealed a massive shift in how the business operates. Women starting with her pushed the envelope forward again and again, forcing the industry to evolve into something new. Now there are more spots available and actually a feast for everyone involved. That shift allows people to feel calm instead of desperate, creating space for a real sisterhood to form. Experiencing that level of unity and opportunity was the most beautiful thing she could have witnessed. This reflection comes from her appearance on Mind Over Mountain with Cheryl Strayed. #AJLee
