Lavrov Rubio meeting Russia Ukraine

Moscow isn't shifting its story one bit even after Lavrov sat down with Rubio in a room where no press was allowed. The Russian foreign minister doubled down on blaming Ukraine for atrocities, accusing Kyiv of targeting civilians while taking shots at European backing for the war effort. He also insisted that Ukrainian strikes hitting Russian infrastructure are messing with global energy markets and reaffirmed that Moscow is still locked into the original goals for launching the full-scale invasion. It all circles back to the same old narrative: the Kremlin insists it's not at fault for starting this whole mess.
