Coal Miner's Daughter Sissy Spacek

Sissy Spacek didn't impersonate Loretta Lynn in Coal Miner's Daughter, she became her. Released in 1980, this film remains the gold standard of biopics because Spacek performed every single vocal without faking it. The story tracks a transition from a young bride in Butcher Holler to an established woman who tells Nashville to sit down. That specific arc defines why the movie feels like the definitive version of the genre. #SissySpacek #Movies
