Diletta Leotta professional standards

Diletta Leotta has spent years covering sports inside Italian stadiums, yet she knows female journalists deal with hurdles that go way beyond just talking about football. In a chat with The Guardian, the DAZN Italy and Radio 105 reporter opened up about the constant scrutiny of her physique, the pressure that comes with it, and why she wants to flip the whole situation. Her main aim is making sure future reporters get judged on their actual work and knowledge instead of how they look. She put it plainly: "I want the women who come after to have to fight less to prove their value." It isn't just about what happens on the field; the changes need to happen off the pitch too so women entering the industry face fewer obstacles when trying to show their worth.
