Steven Borden interview reactions

Steven Borden is letting it be known on Up Close With Renee Paquette that the response from arenas and social media has genuinely taken him by surprise. He admits he hasn't had a single chance to fully take in what's happening yet. The reality for him this year involves doing dark matches every week on every show, which means you never really know how things are going to land when you step out there. He points out that being a second-generation guy makes it way too easy for fans to turn on you, which is honestly understandable given the situation. But instead of that usual reaction, he says the crowds in those weekly dark matches have actually been generous to him, and he finds himself surprised by that generosity every time he walks out there. The positive response on social media has caught him off guard too. Because of all that unexpected support, he's just expressing genuine gratitude for where things stand.
