Minister of Finance betting ban Brasileirão

The minister of finance dropped the news that advertising for betting houses gets banned starting on 06/10, which hits the Brasileirão like a hard blow since the league is saturated with betting sponsors. teams in the Brasileirão carry BETANO branding, some stadiums have naming rights held by betting companies, and even CTs are tied to these sponsors. you walk into these venues and betting firms dominate the advertising boards, then flip on the TV and they dominate the commercials too. this shift changes everything for how the Brazilian football landscape operates financially tbh #Betano
