Thomas Tuchel PSG story

Titles get won by plenty of coaches. What happened away from the touchline is the part that stays with you. Back in 2018, Thomas Tuchel and his wife brought a Filipino woman into their home to work as a domestic helper after he arrived at Paris Saint-Germain. She was grinding through the job with almost no rest, and the reason eventually came out: one of her kids needed a heart operation, and she was trying to raise the money for it. Tuchel covered the entire cost himself. No cameras, no statement, no credit taken. The surgery worked. That could have been the end of it. It wasn't. Before he moved from PSG to Chelsea, he sat her down and asked what she actually wanted most. Her answer was simple. Go back home to the Philippines, put up a house, and settle into a quiet life with her family. So he handed her a villa there to make that possible. You can win titles. Not just anyone does this. That's the whole thing for me.
