Tom Holland on SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY inspiration

Tom Holland revealed that SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY pulled direct inspiration from THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE. He pointed to a specific moment where the narrative imagines Batman partying with friends and dating supermodels, only to cut back to him sitting alone in his house. Holland recalled sending that exact concept over to Destin Cretton as a pitch for their project, saying 'we should do something like this' while describing the contrast between the public social scenes and the quiet solitude at home. youtu.be/6KPZaOc5yYw?si=C4-SuzN2pj2tMo5x
