Alexis Sánchez 2016/17 stats

Everyone talks about peak seasons for the usual suspects, but let's look at the actual numbers before we get carried away. Bale hit 41 combined goals and assists in his best year. Mané reached 29. Hazard managed 38. Sterling put up 37. Robben finished with 32. Then you have Alexis Sánchez during that specific 2016/17 campaign with Arsenal where he exploded for 48 total contributions. The author calls it unstoppable, which feels like an understatement when you see those figures next to the rest of the list. It was a season the streets will never forget because the Chilean was operating on another level entirely.
