Argentina hate messages FIFA report

FIFA just dropped an official report confirming what Argentines have been saying about the abuse their team faced during the 2026 World Cup. The data is staggering: over 17.1 million posts and comments across X, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok were analyzed between June 9 and July 20 to track the hate directed at national teams. Argentina stood out as one of the squads hit hardest, with the frequency of attacks climbing steadily as the tournament moved forward. After Argentina, England, Spain, Brazil, and Norway rounded out the list of most targeted nations. The hostility wasn't random; alleged referee assistance was cited as a primary driver, alongside a significant volume of xenophobic comments aimed directly at the Scaloneta. This report serves as hard confirmation that the hatred directed at the world champions was real.
