Doug Loft Port Vale captain

Doug Loft, who captained Port Vale and pulled on the shirts at Brighton and Gillingham, has died at 39 after a medical emergency Nearly 200 games in a Vale shirt, and the respect he built there came from the way he led, the work he put in, and what he gave to the game Vale are looking to mark it at their next match with black armbands and a period of silence, though that still needs the EFL to give it the green light Condolences to his family, his friends, his former teammates, and anyone who knew him 🕊️ #SkySports #BrightonAndHoveAlbionFC
