Nicolò Tresoldi hat-trick vs Inter Milan

Germany or Italy, figure it out fast, because Nicolò Tresoldi is not staying quiet. Club Brugge have a striker on their hands who keeps making the argument for them, and the international setup question is only getting louder. Against Inter Milan, he turned into the youngest German player to ever put a hat-trick past them, and that night ended 4-3 for Brugge on the road. That alone would turn heads, but the follow-up is what really stands out. Nine goal contributions across his last five matches for club and country. Last season he put away 23 goals for Brugge, and this term he has already bagged eight in ten appearances, with Aston Villa and that San Siro hat-trick among the victims. Born into an Italian family, he can still choose between Germany and Italy at senior level. Elite number nines are getting harder to find, which is exactly why both federations should be moving quickly. Somebody needs to lock this down before the other side does.
