Flamengo complaint to CONMEBOL over Rojo

Flamengo want this one settled off the pitch. The club has gone to CONMEBOL with a formal grievance naming Estudiantes de La Plata, and the ask is blunt: hand them the match and the tie as wins. The grounds? Marcos Rojo, who they claim was registered past the deadline for the series. CONMEBOL had already blocked him from featuring in the opening leg, which pushed Estudiantes to the CAS for the clearance that let him play the second. Rojo's arrival came last October 9, once his Racing contract was terminated. So the whole thing may end up decided in the offices rather than on grass. Does the ruling land on Flamengo's side?
