CDC/NCHS (2024) dropped the marriage rate for every state, per 1,000 people, and Nevada is sitting at 24.8 like it's playing a different sport. Utah takes second at 13.4, Hawaii third at 12.4, District of Columbia fourth with 10.1, then Montana at 9.2 and Colorado at 8.1. Arkansas comes in at 7.9, Tennessee and Wyoming tie at 7.6, Vermont sits at 7.4, Idaho 7.1, and Alabama, Florida and Kentucky all land on 7.0. Connecticut and Maine match at 6.9, New York 6.7, Alaska 6.6, New Hampshire 6.5, then Indiana, South Carolina and South Dakota all at 6.2. North Carolina is 6.1, Rhode Island, Virginia and West Virginia tie at 6.0, Oklahoma and Oregon share 5.9, and Arizona and California both sit at 5.8. The rest of the board keeps sliding from there, and honestly the spread between first and last is unreal.
