Raymond Cruz Tuco Breaking Bad stories

Vince Gilligan's "Cut! Put the beetle down" is the perfect punctuation to Raymond Cruz's recollection of playing Tuco on BREAKING BAD. The whole thing started with boredom, per Cruz, and a lit cigarette he says he ate, which never made it to screen. A second cigarette went up his nose, smoke got inhaled, and it was blown straight into Aaron Paul's face. Aaron's reaction, as Cruz tells it, was a bewildered "What the f**k?" Then the cigarette got flicked and, by Cruz's account, exploded against Aaron's forehead. Gilligan's response to that was that it was amazing but couldn't be used. And then there was the beetle Cruz says he scooped up and attempted to eat, which earned an immediate yell to cut and put it down. Math is math.
