today i carried a full laundry basket down the hall, socks and a wet towel stacked to my chin, and dropped the whole thing right at the washer. i picked it all up, loaded it, hit start, then found my phone sitting in the wet pile inside the drum when it started thumping. what's the story behind the dumbest thing you ever sent through the wash that was never supposed to get wet?
