Pelican rescued from fishing line

Abandoned fishing line turns the ocean's natural home into a deadly trap for marine wildlife. A pelican became entangled in discarded line, and those thin strands can tighten around wings, damaging feathers and skin while hindering flight. Fortunately, wildlife rescuers remove tangled lines and treat injuries to help birds recover, enabling vulnerable ones to return to the wild. This story highlights how small acts of kindness make a big difference when environmental dangers threaten creatures like this. Protecting the ocean is a human responsibility.
