House interview in 2021 Williams confesses to Camry Holland's murder and the murder decades earlier of a child in Alaska and the sexual assault of another child. Investigators had a Williams cell phone and on it they found a video that showed the entire crime. In April of 2024 he was found guilty by a jury and the judge sentenced him to death on four capital murder counts. In June of this year, the Alabama Supreme Court authorized his execution, and Governor Kay Ivey set a 30-hour window for the execution by lethal injection beginning at midnight on August 13th. For Russell County Sheriff Heath Taylor, this is justice. Jeremy Williams told Russell County Sheriff's investigators that he had abused another girl 20 years earlier. Lieutenant Brad Evans went to work. He located the girl, now a young woman, and called. Williams is scheduled to be executed at 6 p.m. Central time by lethal injection.
