D'Angelo Russell is making a case for the Sixers. He starts by calling LeBron the greatest of all time. Then he lists the pieces: Joel as a former MVP, Jaylen Brown as a Finals MVP, Maxey coming off the season he just had, and Edgecombe being on the team. The ceilings are really high. His argument is that adding LeBron to a healthy Joel makes the team tough to beat.

But also, adding a guy like LeBron to a team that did really well last year without a guy like Joel, and then you add a healthy Joel, I think that is debatable, you know. LeBron is the greatest of all time, you know, Joel is ex-MVP, Jalen Brown, Finals MVP, Maxie coming off of the year he had in Edgecombe, the sky is the limit. So I think he does have a point there and he can argue with anybody when it comes to that. For sure. Bro, Philly, to see all those dudes just in attack mode, which is already the style they played in, like, they're gonna be tough to beat. Tough to beat.
