Olivia Rodrigo paid for my final semester of college and I almost never told you that, not because I wasn't grateful, but because I didn't want something that meant so much to become a public spectacle. Because I'm closing this chapter, I didn't want to leave without saying thank you. Olivia first commented on my birthday video and wished me a happy birthday. That alone meant so much to me. Then, I made a video explaining how I was a first-generation student struggling to pay my final semester's tuition. I wasn't asking people to pay for it. I wasn't asking for pity. I was just being honest. Olivia reached out to me privately. She told me she loved my videos and I was a source of positivity and light for her. And she wanted to help me graduate. And she did. Olivia, I don't know if you'll ever understand how much that means to me. You made me feel like I belong on this platform. You didn't owe me anything. You just chose to show kindness to a stranger. I came here wanting to be a light and source of positivity for others. And all of you did the same for me. You helped me in ways I never asked for and I was almost scared to accept. So if you're watching this and you wonder, does that small act of kindness matter? It does. send the message, pay for the coffee, pay for the car behind you, or just smile at someone. You never know the difference it will make. I'm leaving grateful, grateful for the memories, the people, the moments. I'll never forget. This place felt like home for a little while.
