Christian persecution map 180 million
The map on the screen lists the top fifty countries for Christian persecution, and the numbers are stark. One hundred eighty million Christians are brutally persecuted for their faith, and in forty-four of those fifty nations, the persecution traces back to Islam. That works out to ninety percent of all current Christian persecution worldwide. This isn't a new pattern either. The enemy has been stealing territories, killing Christians, and destroying churches for thousands of years. It starts with a hadith in Sahih al-Bukhari where Muhammad says, 'I have been ordered to fight all people until they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.' After his death, the expansion came through the sword and military conquest. Within a century, seventy-five percent of the Christian world at that time had been conquered. Churches, people, lands, all taken. A church believed to be the tomb where Jesus was buried and resurrected was completely destroyed under Islamic rule, and right next to it, the Al-Aqsa Mosque was built on the very ground where Solomon's Temple once stood. That placement was deliberate, to show Islam's victory over Christianity. The destruction didn't stop there. During the caliphate of Hakim, thirty thousand churches were destroyed in Egypt and Syria in a single year. Jesus said in John 10:10, 'The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy,' and that's exactly what's been happening. The enemy has been stealing territories from the Kingdom of Heaven, taking churches and holy sites, killing and persecuting millions, and destroying churches, cities, and nations. This still happens today, not just in the Middle East but everywhere Islam exists. Muhammad said in Hadith Sahih al-Bukhari he said, I have been commanded to wage war against all mankind until they testify that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad is his prophet. And after Muhammad died, Islam continued to grow very quickly. by the sword and by military conquest, he started conquering. And this is exactly what the enemy has been doing for thousands of years. He's been stealing territories from the kingdom of heaven. He's been stealing churches, holy sites. He's been killing and persecuting millions and millions of Christians. And destroying churches, cities, nations. This is still happening today to Christians and to churches, not just in the Middle East, but all across the world. Anywhere where Islam exists, there is persecution of Christians. Solomon says, what has been will be again, for there is nothing new under the sun. I'm going to show you a map on the screen in the top 50 countries where Christian persecution is happening today. 180 million Christians heavily persecuted for their faith today. And out of the 50 top countries where Christians are persecuted, 44 of them are by Islam. Are they persecuted by Islam. That is 90% of all Christian persecution happening today, happening from Islam.
