Lana Condor COYOTE VS ACME SUS shirt

    von Anjali Filmi: Lana Condor

Half of COYOTE VS ACME relies on green screen, a fact that left Lana Condor unsure about the final viewing experience. The filming process involved blocking and rehearsing scenes with an actual Wile E. puppet before it was swapped out for tennis balls. That specific method meant she had no idea what to expect when watching the movie.

What was your reaction when you saw the final scenes of Wile E. Coyote being there with you? We would block the scenes and rehearse the scenes with Wile E, the actual puppet. Then he was pulled and then I was just a tennis ball for eyeline. So, you know, when we watched the movie, or at least for me, when I watched the movie for the first time, you're basically going in blind. Half the movie's, you know, green screen. So you don't really know what to expect. So when I saw it for the first time, it was a real pinch me moment. And one of those things where I'm like, you know what, for me, this will go down as one of the projects that I'm the most, absolutely most proud of and will stand the test of time. And I want everyone, old, young, everything in between to watch it because there is something in it for everyone. And I'm so excited. Oh, yeah. For me, it was so emotional because I was born in 1970. So for me, every afternoon was Looney Tunes. Every Saturday, it was like you're hanging out with a bunch of old buddies that you hadn't seen in a long time. And to get to actually be acting with them? Forget about it. It was the best.
