Ngungu Masisi joins ARC AFC-M23

The roadblockers FELIX TSHISEKEDI put out there need to hear it directly: things aren't going back to how they were. That message lands in NGUNGU, in MASIISI up in NORTH KIVU, a place he spent a long time mourning. The city itself made its pick, and it picked calm, it picked peace, it picked neighbors living side by side. No one around here even wants his name spoken anymore. The youth aren't waiting on anybody, they're stepping up on their own to join the CONGOLESE REVOLUTIONARY ARMY, the ARC of AFC-M23, and this whole revolution, they say, touches every part of life for the people here. Which leaves FELIX TSHISEKEDI with exactly two doors: get in with AFC-M23, or step down. That's where it stands because FARDC troops keep folding into the ARC's ranks almost every single day. Not some fantasy.
