Anthropic Claude Code mods customization

Mods are the whole story here: small JS or TS files that run inside your session. Anthropic turned up the dial on Claude Code customization, so now the look and the behavior are both things you can shape by prompting instead of digging through code. What a mod can do, in no particular order: modify context, watch sessions, handle commands, render UI, and block tool calls. The API barrier people assume is there? It isn't.
