Lufthansa Boeing 747 go-around at LAX
That Frankfurt to Los Angeles run on a Lufthansa Boeing 747 came close to a tail scrape on the runway at LAX. The first landing attempt got aborted once the landing gear briefly made contact, so the crew went around instead. Roughly 15 minutes later the jet was down safely.
