Jose Mercedes NYPD stabbing survivor
von Flint: United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement
NYPD detective Jose Mercedes is walking around after getting stabbed seven times by two illegal aliens. He says he almost died and the first thing on his mind was thanking GOD for a second chance at life. The attacker(s) were described as two illegal aliens, yet the media focus should be on this patriot instead of illegal aliens resisting ICE. If ICE cooperation had happened, those attackers could have been deported before they ever got to him. Every sanctuary politician in New York owns that failure. Jose thanked the person who called 911 on his behalf when he asked for help and came right over. He also thanked his union, the greatest detectives in the world, and the 52 NYPD officers who responded to give him aid. The NYPD ESU applied tourniquets to both arms and inspected him for injuries with total professionalism. He remains forever grateful to everyone from EMS to Jacobi Medical Center staff who made sure he is standing here today.

So many people. The first thing that I want to do is thank God. I have a second chance at life. And I want to thank so many, so many people. My union, the greatest detectives in the world. If we go back to that day, I want to thank that person that I asked for help. And I haven't spoke to him since, but I want to thank that person that called 911 on my behalf. When I thought I was going to die, he came to me and called 911. I want to thank the 52 NYPD officers that responded and just gave me my aid and helped me in this difficult time that I was going through. right I almost died and then the NYPD's ESU that they just demonstrated their their calmness and their professionalism and in rendering aid to me and applying tourniquets to both of my arms and then inspecting my body for further injuries. And I'm going to be forever grateful to those people that saved my life. And then everyone else from the EMS to Jacoby Medical Center that continue to make sure that I'm here standing today. Thank you.
