José Mourinho on Tchouaméni Valverde double pivot

von Your Sleepy Fox: Aurélien Tchouaméni

The idea of Tchouaméni and Valverde locked in a double pivot again is something I never want to see in my life, please. Both players are good in their specific roles but together no. José Mourinho addressed the situation by stating he is there to do what he thinks is best for the team because coaches are the ones who make decisions. He noted that people expressing opinions out of love for football or as a job don't hold more weight than his own analysis as a coach. While a coach must always be open to improving otherwise they are considered limited, changes happen based on MY ANALYSIS since a football match lasts 90 minutes.
