FXCK UP THE WORLD

On February 28, 2025, Lisa and Future unleashed "FXCK UP THE WORLD" as a trap banger that officially introduced her aggressive alter ego Vixi. Released through Lloud Co. and RCA Records, this track served as the fifth single from Lisa's debut studio album Alter Ego. Producers FnZ, ATL Jacob, and Hendrix Smoke crafted a dark soundscape filled with distorted 808 basslines and sharp synth stabs to match the villainous narrative. The song features two distinct versions: the original collaboration where Future trades bars with Lisa, and a solo cut where she adopts a lower, snarling register to fully embody Vixi.

Commercially the release found strong footing in Asia while maintaining global reach. It climbed to number two on the Thailand Singles Chart and entered the top twenty in both Malaysia and Singapore. On the international stage, the track peaked at number 25 on the Billboard Global 200 and number 18 on the Global Excl. US chart. Although it missed the US Hot 100 entirely, it debuted at number 10 on the Spotify Global Streaming Chart within its first week. Critics offered mixed reactions; Pitchfork gave it a 6.2 out of 10 for having a beat that slaps but lyrics that fail to stick, while NME described the experience as a fun chaotic romp. The song currently holds a Metacritic score of 62 based on eight reviews.

The accompanying music video directed by Christian Breslauer premiered simultaneously with the single and depicts Lisa escaping a mental institution as Vixi. The visual narrative includes high-octane car chases, explosions, and a confrontation with police heavily inspired by the League of Legends universe. Future makes a cameo appearance in the clip which has since accumulated over 80 million views on YouTube. Lisa brought the performance to life at Coachella on April 11, 2025, marking a key moment in her solo era before taking the stage during Blackpink's Deadline World Tour. The track also secured a spot in the Nike Air Force 1 Chaos campaign launched in March 2025. [bearbeiten]
