Into You

Ariana Grande released "Into You" on May 6, 2016 as the second single from her third studio album Dangerous Woman. The track was crafted by a writing team that included Grande alongside Max Martin, Savan Kotecha, Alexander Kronlund, and Ilya Salmanzadeh. Martin and Salmanzadeh handled production duties to create a sound blending dance-pop with distinct EDM, house, and electro elements.

Lyrically the song focuses on intense desire and mutual attraction while the music builds from a minimalist club beat with sharp percussive clicks into a euphoric chorus. Grande's vocal performance shifts from breathy intimate verses to a powerful sustained climax that defines the track's emotional arc. The production features shimmering synthesizers that escalate throughout the four-minute runtime.

The accompanying music video directed by Hannah Lux Davis premiered simultaneously with the single release. It depicts Grande in sun-drenched settings like a motel room and desert highway alongside scenes of a passionate romance between her and a love interest. The visual aesthetic utilizes bright lighting and fluid camera work to match the upbeat tempo of the song. [bearbeiten]
