Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time

Daisuke Hiyama launched Peter Grill to Kenja no Jikan in Futabasha's Monthly Action magazine back in August 2017. The series ran in print until February 2024 before moving to the Web Action platform where it wrapped up its run in August 2024. Fifteen tankōbon volumes collected the chapters, with Seven Seas Entertainment handling the North American release under their Ghost Ship imprint.

The story kicks off when Peter Grill wins the Tournament of the Strongest and claims the right to marry the elven princess Arianrhod. His victory triggers a strange biological reaction in his DNA that makes him irresistible to almost every female species on the planet. From goblins and lizard people to dragons and demi-humans, women of all races relentlessly pursue him despite his desire for a quiet life with Arianrhod.

An anime adaptation produced by Wolfsbane aired its first season from July to September 2020. A second season titled Super Extra! followed from October to December 2022 as a co-production between Wolfsbane and Seven Arcs. The manga concluded in 2024, giving fans a complete 15-volume story about a warrior who cannot escape the attention of powerful monster girls. [bearbeiten]
