an NBC4 news helicopter went down in Los Angeles while covering a collision between an SUV and a Metro bus that already left two people dead and six others hurt. the crash itself claimed at least three lives, with the Los Angeles Fire Department identifying one victim as likely being a pedestrian walking nearby. the other two victims were members of the NBC crew inside the aircraft when it fell. r

NewsChopper4 went down in Chatsworth just before 7 p.m. while NBC LA was covering a nearby fatal Metro bus crash that LAFD says left three dead and one hospitalized. The station lost contact with the crew about two hours prior to this broadcast, and they plan to interrupt programming for updates since the cause of the helicopter crash remains under investigation.
